The Windmill Bistro is a casual Pacific Northwest restaurant located adjacent to the Windmill Gardens Nursery in Sumner, Washington. The Sandland residence, a charming home built at the turn of the 20th century has been modified to create a unique restaurant experience.We think you will be captivated by the distinctive setting and become a regular friend of the restaurant. The Bistro offers a relaxed, reasonably priced dining experience and is known for exceptional hospitality and high quality service. The Bistro has recently changed ownership and is now owned by Chef Bruce Patterson and managed by his girlfriend, Barb Weller. Chef Bruce is from the Phoenix area and has over 25 years experience working for high end restaurants and resorts. Barb has been a server at the Windmill Bistro since it originally opened in 2008. Chef Patterson's desire is to create dishes that allow the ingredients to speak for themselves. As he likes to call it, "Grand Simplicity!" He's not looking to make drastic changes to the already popular menus, just improve upon what is offered.
