I did not dine in, my order was for carry out. The food was tasty the only concern I had was I ordered 2 paella dishes 1 was supposed to be a chicken paella which I specified was to be without sausage however when I arrived home it contained sausages.
I took my wife here for her birthday dinner.She loves clams & paella.That is what we ordered.Portions were very generous & service was good as well.......however when using the certificate....they seem to subtract a certain amount from each item ordered as opposed to 1 lump sum of $15 from the total bill,making the bill very confusing to figure out.They also add an 18% gratuity automatically including on the tax ,which is nervy & then on top of that ,when it comes to signing for the bill it asks if I want to add another gratuity.....it was a good meal ,not a great meal ,& I didn,t like that aspect.
The food is good.but the service the times that we were there at the begining was good. But last time that i was there the service was not good .so me and family members not sure to go back to that place. Try too change the service or the waitress.
We had an excellent evening, we enjoyed salsa dancing after we eat.
Service was great up until the end. Once the server brought over the box to wrap our food to go, we didn't see him again for the bill for at least a half hour. I had to go to the bar where he was socializing with customers to ask for the bill to get out of there. When I asked him for the parking voucher back to get the free parking at the lot they use, he told me we didn't need it and they would send someone to open the gate. But when we got back to the parking lot, staff there was demanding the parking ticket be given to her. A little confusing on that end. But other than that, the rest of the experience was fair.
We were promptly seated. The service (Sabrina) was very nice and attentive. The food was very good and portions were big.
We love this restaurant. We sit at the bar. The bartenders are always very attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious! It was a great choice for a night in Newark. The portions are very decent and filling, even the tapas. We ended up ordering too much food because we thought the tapas portion would be tiny haha.
We have a restaurant.com certificate and Patrick upstairs made us feel very uncomfortable that we even had a coupon . Fortunately you have Corey as your assistant manager , he was very warm and welcome me. He was the reason we decided to stay and dine in your establishment.
This restaurant far exceeded our expectations and we will make this our go to place to eat when in Newark. I can't say enough great things about the food and the service. Danny was helpful with making great recommendations on what to order and making our dinning experience enjoyable. This place is a gem and would highly recommend this restaurant for the best tapas.
The good was very average at best. The service from our waitress was worse. The location and setting were great.
The server was amazing! She took the time explain certain items on the menu, asked about questions and made recommendations. She was knowledgeable about the items on the menu and was very personable as well. The food was great and we had a positive experience with everyone who served out table.
Birthday celebration on 22th,food was brought in a timely fashion,was delicious,owner came over. Very nice person,ambiance beautiful,service marvelous. Will definitely return.If able a higher rating would be given.

The hostess was unable to seat us at a table because they felt we should have had a reservation - however, they allow solicitors off the street to sell dvd's, so we sat at the bar and the bartender Tony was spectacular. The bartender who started later was rude and attempted to rush us out of our seats before they even removed seating for the lounge - making us uncomfortable. Tony saved the experience, and we had been there before and it was favorable.

The restaurant is very noisy. Had to talk very loudly for members of our party of 4 to hear each other. Not for business lunch or dinner. We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. Maybe weeknights would be better but I just don't know. The entertainment was OK. A two piece band including the singer.
A spur of the moment decision to go to this restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere and menu items. Food was fantastic.

They couldn't get the prices straight. Kept ringing me up at prices higher than the quoted menu price. It took 3 times to get the correct bill.

Great service. Tasty dishes. Shrimp in garlic sauce excellent. Octopus was boiled instead of grilled, but quite good. Spicy potatoes not spicy and too much vinegar. I would not recommend it.

The food was pretty good. But I don't understand why they charged me what they did and they didn't provide an itemized receipt. They did take the Restaurant.com certificate off, but it still seemed to be too much. I was in a hurry so I didn't check. I have one more certificate, so I will definitely check the next time around!

Because the World Cup finals was on TV, we could not get a table, while people were not even eating nor drinking.Eventually we were seated, had to ask 5x to get water during our meal. Food was good.
It was very noisy, hard to hear my friends talk. The seafood paella was overdone and seafood tough. 2 of the sangrias we ordered had so much fruit that there was little room for liquid. It took 1 1/2 hours for paella and food to come, menu did warn it took 45 minutes. Sent back one tapas, no one liked it. THey said they would not charge us, but I beleive they did.
MY HUSBAND ORDERED SURF AND TURF MEDIUM WELL (FILET MIGNON AND ONE TAIL)THEY SERVED TO HIM WHOLE LOBSTER AND SIRLOIN STEAK. WICH WAS OVER COOK AND ALSO I TOLD THEM THAT THE MEAT WAS SIRLOIN NOT FILET MIGNON,OUR SERVER TOOK THE PLACE BACK TO THE KITCHEN AND MY HUSBAND HAD TO WAIT FOR ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES. THE MANAGER AND OUR SERVER NEVER GAVE US AN APOLOGIZE, WE MADE THE COMPLAINT TO ANOTHER SERVER THEM THE MANAGER CAME TO TALK TO US, BUT THEY INCLUDED THE GRATUITY AND WE MUST PAY TO SOMEBODY THAT DON'T DESERVED IT.

Each dish was delicious and served sporadically which gave time to enjoy each tapas. The staff was very attentive and shared suggestions with our party. Everything was perfect. My only comment would be that some dishes had way too much salt.
The service and staff were a little disapointing. Had to wait long periods of time to get our drinks and different people kept coming to our table so by the end I wasnt sure who our server was or who I was tipping. We had 3 different servers by the end of our meal. Food was excellent though.
I like the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The waiter provided good service and the food was tasty. But I think the food is a bit pricey, particularly for lunch. They should consider offering reduced prices for lunch as that may help them get more customers.

This place is awesome, the service was outstanding and the food is incredible.
I was very upset about the service, the food was cold and they were unfriendly. When I asked for their speciality sauce, they stated they didn't have any. It was7pm not very late; instead of the same the bring me a LArge saucer of BUTTER! I was horrified. Had a horrible experience and wasted my money eating there. I will not patronize that establishment again.

Dining at Vivos is FANTASTIC!! The staff never rushes you and they make you feel like you are VIP!!! The food is amazing.. My husband and I enjoy Vivos. I can have a great dinner and he can Dine on Multiple Tapas.. We both get the experience we want and neither of us has to give in to the other...

Excellent food and excellent service we plan on going back soon. Always made sure we were ok. Sangria was excellent. We had twin Lobster Tails. Finished w Spanish Coffee which I recommend.
The food here are nice. But mainly the service was so bad. The person who served our table did not provide us water, we have to ask for it. Every time we need anything, we need to wave for a long time and ask another service people to help. Never check on our dining experience nor ask if the food is ok. Bad bad service. And in the middle of dinning, for some reason, he stops serving our table (We can see him always chatting with another people at the bar) So we end up served by another server. How ride it is.
Most of our dinners were very good. Some others fell off a little. Rice was different and some fish was tasteless. Lobsters and steaks were excellent. Service was good.
The wait staff was attentive. We ordered several tapas to share. Portion size was good and everything was tasty and well prepared. The Galitian soup was delicious and not over salted as restaurant soups often are!!

This restaurant is not run by professionals. We sat and waited without even drinks for 45 minutes and then they rushed us when the restaurant was converting into a lounge. When we had ordered a second drink to meet the certificate requirement they charged us a different price then the same drink when we were eating because now it was a "club". Lousy customer service. Lousy attention. Total waste of time.
food was very good and very nice atmosphere.
The food was excellent we had the calamari which was wonderful. I also had the salmon stuffed with crab meat with rice and vegetables ahhhh it was so good. My girlfriend had the paella which she said was very good. We also had two pitcher's of your red sangria which was good we sent pictures to our friends. They were amazed at the amount of food that was on the plates. This will be marked as one of my favorite places to go. Oh and can't forget about the wonderful service that was provided the waiter he was very nice and made us feel so comfortable.

I AM a piano teacher who lives 10 miles away. I'm seriously seriously thinking of bringing the whole audience ( 40-50 people) here after he recital is over in Montclair. The recital takes place on fathers day. Wow Dr. Parente

Didn't like that fact that my drink was in a regular soda bottle where I had to refill myself, The space was too small. I would say I like the fact the food was made to order didn't mind waiting a little longer for fresh hot food, but it was also over cooked. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.
