the food was good and the servers excellant. the corkage fee is rather high so we had to buy one of their wines

The Depot in Seaview and Mycovios in Ocean Park are hands down THE best on the Long Beach Peninsula. Casual fine dining just as Depot’s motto states. Go dressed up if you wish for special occasions as well....
We come to this restaurant once a year when we visit the area. It keeps being great! Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We hope to return next year!!!
the food was good and the service was wonderful. we do not like the owner/chef at this restraurant. he has a bad attitude. which is why we don't go there often

Special apps were great! Portions were huge. Mashed potatoes were real. Burger was fair.

We came on Burger Night, as we were visiting the area, and were yearning for a good burger. They were excellent!

The Depot always is a great dining experience. and the wait staff is top notch.
Pleasant but not outstanding ambiance; waiter a bit frazzled due to full house and comments like "catch me when you can" not very encouraging. That said, food was served promptly with no significant delays. Wine list not updated; out of one and substitute for another. One steak, ordered medium rare arrived medium well; offer to start over made although not accepted given others in party.
We ordered the rib eye special and it was excellent . We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at The Depot and will come back again ??

It is a very pricey restaurant, so people need to be aware of that.
The food is wonderful in the quaint little depot. Service is friendly and good. The hostess is where the term hostess with the mostest originated. She is marvelous. But the star of the show is the chef!
Everything was so fresh and presented very well, and they were able to accommodate my wife and I inside when we told them the outside deck area was too windy.
Paid $12 for three scallops. Expensive for what you get. Nice selection of wine. Only open 5pm to 8p.
the greeter is always nice. but the chef has an attitude and we don't usually go there for dinner.

We visited on a Wednesday evening which is hamburger night. You choose they type of meat, condiments and fries you would like. Best sweet potato fries I have had. Great place and fun.

The entire staff was warm and pleasant from the minute we walked in the door. The decor is charming, and the chef's table is a charming experience.

Unbelievably good food...fabulous! The rib eye steak was simply perfection. The hostess was friendly and engaging. The waitress took great care of us. With the help of restaurant.com, we had an experience we will never forget.

Elegant dishes and a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed dining in a smaller venue that suprised with such tasty meals. We all agreed that the Carne Asada appetizer was a definite winner!
It was like eating in a bar! The food was good (for a soup and salid) however the entrees were extremely overpriced!
I asked for something not on the menu and the chef did a wonderful job.
The food and ambiance far surpassed our expectations. In addition to our waitress Ashley being cordial, all the guest in the dining room were cordial, interactive, and well pleased with their meals as well.We are looking forward to our next experience at the Depot, which coincidently, is the actual former train depot building in Seaview Wa.

I have enjoyed the depot everytime I have gone. It is well worth the price, but it is expensive. My gramdother and uncle and cousin were in town, and with the coupon it made it very affordable and my family loved it!

We ate there both nights we were in Long Beach. Burger night was great...fun and yummy! The next night we used our Restaurant.com deal and the restaurant had a higher scale vibe. The food was excellent and the service superb. I would visit there again if I went to Long Beach. If you plan to eat there, make a reservation. We almost did not get a seat for Burger night.
I've used restaurant.com certificates when traveling before. I've been pleased with all experiences but this was the BEST by far! The Depot is a winner!
I was impressed that the restaurant took the coupon without any question. We tried to see that we spent a reasonable amount: two glasses good wine, desert, salad plus two entrees etc. so as to do our part.
We have been driving 66 roundtrip miles for the past 15 years to eat at The Depot. We will contine to dine there for special occasions.

The atmosphere is so wonderful, especially on that cold snowy evening. We only visit The Long Beach Peninsula occasionally, or we would eat there more often

Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, service and food were excellent, portions were generous,didn't feel rushed while eating, visited with other guests, the wait staff looked after not only their own guests but others as well. We will continue patronizing The Depot.

The Depot is by far our favorite restaurant in the Long Beach area. We have never had a meal there that was not amazing.

We tried The Depot last summer because of a Restaurant.com certificate. This year we bought a certificate because we wanted to return Again, we were very pleased!
the salmon special was fantastic, the scallops were delicious but rather skimpy (3)
