Our waiter (nickname Rabbit) was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the all items on the menu and history of the Bowery. He made an excellent recommendation for our appetizer.

The burger was not seasoned and the chili cheese fries seemed like decent fries, covered with canned chili and nacho cheese sauce(also canned).

Poor service. Waitress told us about happy hour drink prices. After we ordered and drank our drinks she informed us our drinks would be at full price. After talking to manager we still had to pay the full price. Service in general was VERY SLOW. Had to wait about 10 minutes just to get our check. Food was decent.

The food, service and location near the beach are all great. Bear in mind that this is the Bowery Saloon and is a party place with the atmosphere of a frat house and loud music.The shrimp,burgers and especially the French Fries, however, were very good and worth a return visit.

It was too noisy. The music very loud and we sat outside. Food-very good. No soap in the ladies room. The location does not work for our needs.

We are here in myrtle beach for vacation and l found this restaurant on restaurant.com. It had good reviews and the kids wanted burgers. The food was amazing, staff was very polite and very attentive. We will be sure to visit in the next vacation fm to myrtle beach.

We originally were told 40 minute wait for food, but our server, Alex got us in quick and we were eating in 16 minutes, Thanks Alex...also it is really 2 dining rooms because you can sit in the bar also

We go there once a month and enjoy the food and the ambience of an old throwback bar. We love it . Bar tenders are great and it's just a pleasant time to waste away an afternoon at the beach where we call home.

The Bowery is a beach joint with all the rustic amenities that make it interesting. The staff is very friendly and offered tips on the menu and paid the appropriate attention to the table. A "4" is the highest I would rate this type of restaurant.

Do not let the modest decor dissuade you from trying this place. The burgers are really good (they're all 1/2 lb and freshly patted) and you can get them cooked to order. If you go after about 8:30, you can hear the live Country music from The Bowery (which is next door and is open to the street) while you eat without paying a cover charge.

We were seated in a section near the bar as the restaurant is very limited in dining space. My family and I are non-smokers so we were disturbed by the cigarette smoke. Our server was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often. The food was okay and we didn't have to wait long for our order to come to the table.

Was a throwback of about 50 years. with few changes or updates. that's part of it's allure. This was the place where Alabama got its start. Good food, and service. Getting a little old to be a regular.

The Burgers were outstanding with fries that are hand-cut and crisp. The only drawback for future dining is smoking is allowed. When they open their outdoor seating area, we will return.

We were there in off season in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Bowery was not open however, Duffys attached to The Bowery was open. It's a bar with the best bar food we ever ate. The service was really excellent. Portions are good, we recommend the place for food & spirits.
