Delicious food - excellent service and nice atmosphere
Very disappointed in the shrimp francaise. The shells were not removed from the shrimp and made it difficult to eat.

Service was slow. Dining room only had a few tables seated, took about 10 min before drinks were ordered once seated. Ordered fish, taste was as if it was previously frozen and reheated, pasta was no drained well, plate was watery as a result.

The restaurant was empty. They were training a new person. Our simple dinner took two hours. My gluten free pasta was so salty it was not edible. My brother ordered Italian dressing. Was served thousand island and told that was their Italian. They did not take anything off the bill for the pasta but did give us free dessert for the long wait time. I have dined here Many times. I never had an experience Like this there before.

I've passed by this restaurant a thousand times and would probably never dined here if I hadn't had purchased a restaurant certificate. The exterior of the restaurant appears to me like a bar, however, inside is a quaint room with about 12 tables. Our server was very attentive and our food was not only served timely, but was delicious.

The homemade pasta is amazing. Lasagna, meatballs, soups, Paccheri Bolognese, chicken parmigiana and Strozzapreti Puttanesca left us so full that there was no room for dessert. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had large portions at a reasonable price. My friend had lobster ravioli which was loaded with lobster which she said was excellent. Her husband had baked ziti with sausage etc. My husband had a chicken dish (can't remember the name of it)which had 2 large pieces of chicken with pasta. I had Italian sausage and broccolirab on top of polenta with tomato sauce. This was an appetizer which was large enough for a meal. For me this was an unusual dish which I wanted to try and it too was delicious. The calamari appetizer was great and enough for the four of us. All the food came out piping hot. After dinner we sat there for a while visiting and no one rushed us out. We all highly recommend this restaurant and will go back.

What a find!! I have driven by here many times on my way to other restaurants thinking this was a pizza place. Although they have a pizza, this is no pizza parlor. I had the best best best linguini and clam sauce. My husband's Cesar salad with grilled chicken was also over the top, as was his fettuccine alfredo. This is my new favorite. Shout out to Michele, our awesome bartender. Great service.

Portions were large, salad was fresh, atmosphere was nice, except for the other party in the room, they were loud. management can find a way, im sure to let people know they are in a public place and not their own dining room...... again, waitress was terrific! we will be coming back.

Our server made the dining experience a positive one. She knew the menu and and answered questions to help us in making decisions for our dinner. My porch chop was done to perfection and perfectly seasoned with the artichokes and potatos.
We calaled for a reservation and were told that the time wwe wanted would not work for them BUT we were welcome to come 15 minutes earlier...they haad a very large (12+) party coming at the time wwe wnated so they would not be able to give us the due attention that thet wanted to give to us.

Portions are generous without being obscene; everything prepared with good flavorsand fresh ingredients. Chef was willing to make minor changes to the dishes substituting side dishes to our preference.
The fried calamari was sub-par. It only contained rings (no legs)and it appeared to have been deep-fried. It basically had no taste other than burnt oil. The main courses were all average. It's a good place to go on a Sunday night since it isn't crowded and you then get better wait staff service. Portion sizes were good! If they ratcheted up the gourmet quality, we'd be inclined to come on Saturday nights, but for now, it's relegated to Sundays.

One reason I wouldn't return is because they charged $3 for each credit card used (2) and blamed it on restaurant.com. I never had that happen before.

We had been customers of People's Pizza since 1981 when we first moved into Manalapan. Since we moved out of state 6 years ago we were happy to see the changes inside. Food was very good but I have 2 comments: The soup, although tasty, was served lukewarm. The broccoli had such an off taste, that we had to request it to be exchanged for a pasta. This does not help when you are dieting. Maybe next time will be perfection. Overall I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars.

The food was excellent, but the service so poor that I'd hesitate to return. Only 2 waitresses and no bus people for 16-18 tables. Courses were served before the previous course was cleaned from the table (including coffe served while dinner plates remained). Need additional professional help.

The waitress was the best part of our dining experience. The menu did not match what was on line. They were out of many of the wine selections. The food was overpriced for the quality but it was decent. I wouldn't dine there again only because I think it is more of a takeout pizza place rather than somewhere I would like to eat dinner.
