We were greeted upon walking in the door. The kindness didn't end there. Our waitress was very courteous and provided everything we needed with such a pleasant attitude.

The interior is way overdue for a refreshing makeover. The interior decor is very bland, uninviting, faded and outdated. It also reaked of a stale odor. I was somewhat disappointed of the first impression. The quality of the my guest and I had today was delicious and on point. I visited this franchise of restaurants up north in Wisconsin and it was one of my favorite places to dine. I feel this place can really use a facelift. I will probably come here to eat again, but will not be my choice to bring an important group of coworkers, family members or friends. It is just that unimpressionable.

Wonderful waitress. Good food. Specially appreciated being able to converse freely and to hear clearly within the very good acoustics of this Perkins Restaurant. The six of us are beyond age 80. Other restaurants are often very loud, making it very difficult for seniors to converse well.

The portions were large and the quality was excellent. Read the fine print b/c our coupon said it could be used on desserts as well and we were told at first (before they read it) that we couldn't. They made it right though.

Waitress went out of her way (as the kitchen)to slice a banana and give us a small bowl of syrup for the kids. Kids don't like the usual fruit cup and Reed likes to dip his French toast instead of pouring syrup on it. Also made sure we had enough napkins. Just could not have had a better dining experience with the grandkids.

My husband enjoyed his country fried steak very much. I ordered fried shrimp. I was a little disappointed there were only 6 shrimp. Also very unhappy on how over fried they were. It wouldn't surprise me if they had been cooked earlier and then refried for me to get them hot. That's why I couldn't give an excellent rating. They were so crispy they ripped up the roof of my mouth. We will eat there again but I won't order shrimp.

Our server, Jeff, to excellent care of us. Our order was taken promptly and the food was served quickly. Of course the kitchen staff deserves credit for a delicious meal.

Three of us had eggs. All agreed that they tasted like the they had been cooked in something that been used to cook onions in. I had the pumpkin pancakes which were almost black on the outside and mushy (line oatmeal) on the inside. They tasted like the cook took some oatmeal added a little pumpkin and spices to it and tried to make it into a pancake.It was inedible! Th other2 who hd pancakes ate them, but they,also, were nearly burnt. The abandoned were tasteless.

I go there for breakfast, no matter what time of day I visit. We ordered off the "over 55" menu. The plate came out with one egg and two pieces of bacon, but the plate was huge and it looked pretty anemic just laying on the plate. Tasted OK, but the pancakes, which I seldom order because of my diabetes, were outstanding. The young lady serving us was very new, but had the sense to ask a supervisor about the menu. All in all a good visit, but they need to work on the presentation of the food.
Food was great, but way too much for me. Ended up bringing some home. Lunch for tomorrow. YEAH!!!
Skewered grilled shrimp were unusually flavorful,and avocado filled salad enhanced the taste.Gin martini with muddled olives. And olive juice also exceptional.My only complaint is delightful patio was so busy I had to sit inside.
This is a convenient, casual place to meet & eat that has been a Somerville mainstay for decades. Good comfort food at reasonable prices.

After we were seated we saw that the table had not been cleaned and had to ask for it to be cleaned.

Food was average at best. Decor was like some old living room. The only good thing was the quail appetizer, but wouldn't be worth going again everything else included.

Our waitress was sweet & accommodating. But my friend ordered a tuna melt& you were put of tuna. So she ordered something else & the first baked potato she received was still hard; it was undercooked. The second one was ok but all they really did was take another one & put it in the micro.

It was just at this Perkins (Summerville, SC). 1/2 order wrong and right order got cold while order corrected. Mgr did credit for cold order and gave 2 muffins for bad service.
We had our 4 little grandchildren with us. The waitress handled them (us) perfectly and we enjoyed a nice, quiet breakfast-for-dinner meal!

Best pizza! Love the cornmeal baked on the bottom of thin crust! Really the best pizza I have had! Also, the staff is always so friendly! Never had a bad experience here! Fun, relaxing environment and never felt out of place with our kids! We always feel like we're taking advantage using this certificate, but they never make us feel bad using it! We always tip well to feel better about the great deal and service were getting!

We looked forward to starting our NEW YEAR off at Perkins. My mom loves the Brioche French Toast and they were out of it but the sweet manager/chef made it especially for her and I thought that was really nice. My auntie enjoyed her waffle. My appetizer platter was shared with my dad. Kathy our server was really helpful. The food is good and I will be back in a few weeks for some baked goods, moms birthday is on the 20th and she has to have some more french toast and some pastries.

I ordered the 14oz prime rib very and my wife ordered the steak special medium-pink in the middle. My prime rib was medium to well done and Luke warm almost cold. My wife's steak was well done. My accompaniments were cold. Our salads were not much better, only a few pieces of fresh lettuce.. For dessert I inquired what was available and our server mentioned several items, to which I ordered cheesecake. She returned shortly and told me they I'd not have any.

Had company and went for Sunday breakfast and it was really crowded...........but got a table and they were very courtious and timley and food was great.
We had an absolutely fantastic server. She had about 10 tables and was busy the whole time. She took time to check our table every time she passed as well as everyone else she was serving. She had a good memory -- she did not write anything down yet got everybody's order correct. Hope we get her the next time we visit.

Our waitress was excellent! She made sure the orders were correct so the kids got what they wanted instead of the 'menu made' entrees - ex. no tomato or gravy on the breakfast entrée, no onion of the burger, etc.There was also a section set-aside for families with Disney movies playing to entertain the kids (and parents!)

My in-laws love Perkins and we were in the area with them so we decided to stop. The asst. mgr. Elke is very nice and helps my in-laws out. She goes out of her way to greet us and the waitresses are very friendly with a couple of difficult seniors.

The last several times we have been to this Perkins, we had a great dining experience. Our service was on top of it. My over medium eggs were to watery this time, but she resolved it promply. I am rating quality of food as good because I did have to send the eggs back. Management does an outstanding job!

My husband and I went to Perkins for dinner last night. The restaurant was clean, the server was very accommodating and sweet, the food was plentiful and tasty and it was overall a very pleasant eating experience. We will be back.

Shift manager told us of the limitation before we ordered. Still had a variety to choose from. waitress was great. Had a hard time with having to spend 35 dollars when our actual bill was already 32, felt forced to pay extras.

Normally I would rate this restaurant very high. That particular visit did not go so well. Our server was young and inexperienced. He did not bring syrup with a breakfast order which was burned and had to be sent back. He brought the incorrect salad for another individual. Never reserviced our drinks. Overall hard to rate good.

I've eaten at Perkins previously and have never had a bad meal or service. Today was no different. The food was excellent and so was the service.
Once our food was served, we didn't see our server again for the entire meal. No refills, no offers of dessert, nothing. The mashed potatoes were clearly microwaved with a crunchy crust around the edge. Yuk!!
Meals are fairly small but adequate. We were at one end of the restaurant, and our waiter didn't come by much after we were served....probably never if we hadn't called to him. We called to him for more water, and then for our rolls, which he had forgotten and he did not bring ANY butter with the rolls, and only one serving of butter for the baked potatoes and three of us had ordered baked potatoes. We did without butter for the rolls and the two baked potatoes. Other than those things, he did okay.

My family loves Perkins- The staff is always great and there is something for everyone on the menu.
Our food was good. I orderd the turkey and dressing, but it did not have enough gravy. Consequently, it was a little dry. Otherwise, our experience was good.
I was very pleased to hear that Perkins plays contempary christian music throughout their restaurant.
The waitress didn't bring any small plates for us with appetizers and the kitchen staff was loud and boisterous...maybe watching a sporting event??
