Bailey is a great waitress!
We actually picked up food and brought it home for take out due to the pandemic. We have eaten here before and had a very pleasant experience.
This is such a great neighborhood spot. We love the fact that they offer a salad with the fish on Friday nights. The service is always great!
food was excellent,it came out fast, service was good EXCEPT other tables were brought water with menus, we had to ask for it, we never had anyone stop back to ask how things were or if something needed, which we would have loved more butter for baked potatoes. They stopped at tables around us and we heard them ask them.
Our server took our order & never came back at all to ask how everything was. The person that delivered our food was very friendly.

This place is my favorite neighborhood hang out! I've been going here since I moved to Madison in 1986
Excellent food, and service. Love the hot, fresh fish sandwich. burgers & all of the sides offered. Especially delicious coleslaw too. Ordered an extra because its so good. TOP NOTCH!
The waitresses service was very poor and she seemed annoyed that we had a restaurant.com certificate and needed to keep track of having to spend more than $50.
Folks are so friendly and helpful here, both the staff and other customers.

We had an especially pleasant server...a nurse picking up some extra work on the weekend.

I say the same thing all the time. Fast service, great food, nice atmosphere. The only gripe I have: the bar is to high for the bar chairs. I'm reaching up rather than over to get to my food. I like sitting at the bar but this problem has made me sit elsewhere.

Terrific food, service, and drink. An outstanding restaurant/bar. Would highly recommend.
Service was slow. Right at lunch hour though and busy. Waited quite a long time for food. Sandwiches were very good. Fries and onion rings were so-so.

We attend a funeral in Mount Horb and had planned for days to come to Laural's Tavern. When my husband golf's in the area he brings his 4some to Laural's. We love it that we can save with resteraunt is a plus but we come t I must add the young lady on us was a delight remined me of our grand girls. She was fantastic, and made the day special.

laurel is VERY popular. SO----be prepared for a possible wait if you go between 6 & 730. BUT----the walleye is the PRIZE and is WELL WORTH the wait.

Great food, but over priced for bar food that is no lesser quality than most every bar restaurant in Madison. Bartender was exceptional, very personable, attentive, and knowledgeable.

I ordered the prime rib special. It was done exactly the way I had asked. Good, fresh salad and baked potato. My husband had a cheeseburger gave it a 2 thumbs up and was very happy to get crispy, not "soggy" French fries. The waitress was wonderful. Very efficient and friendly.
The food is always good! The service is always fast & friendly! The atmosphere is not too family oriented, not just a bar. Just a great neighborhood place to stop for a bite in a nice atmosphere.

i ordered a steak sandwich med-rare and it came out blood red and very tough.i asked for a reuben as a replacement and after the wait person was out of earshot she said i would not have advised that since she ordered the reuben and said wasnt that good

The food is always excellent! The service is fast and price is reasonable. Also, there's enough parking so it's an immediate short walk to the front or back door. Nice amount of larger TV screens that offer more than one sporting event, and the volume is low enough so as not to disturb conversations.

We had a late lunch, so there weren't many people in the tavern. That also contributed to having our food served rather quickly. The food was delicious! I had their signature burger, very tasty and juicy with a side order of chive french fries.

My friend's name is Laurel and for fun I picked this restaurant. We stopped in the middle of the afternoon and they were very friendly and the food was great. I would definitely stop and eat there again.

It's crowded on Friday nights but the crowd is always in a good mood and everyone is having a good time. The walleye fish fry is one of the best in the state with a very generous portion and great hash browns. The bar makes a great Martini.
