This is a place that we would go to for what we call special occasions. We could have ordered something less expensive but it was for a special occasion. Absolutely delicious with impeccable service. We highly recommend, just bring your credit card; however, remember you do get what you pay for.

Steak over cooked. Took long time for appetizer and salad. Risotto bland
The food was just ok. Probably will not go back just because it was a little pricey compared to other like restaurants. Also the interior is very very dated. Chairs felt like you were sitting on a concrete bench.

We were the only ones there. Arrived at 5:15 and left about 6. Little pricey, since the salad is extra, but the portions are large. My pasta had lots of good ingredients, just needed a little sauce to tie it together. Olive oil dip with olives was excellent, bread would have been too, but the salt had not been incorporated into the dough. Got several bites of salt in the rustic bread ( which we thought excellent until we both hit the salt bites)
Ate at the bar and selected from bar menu options. Server was friendly, prompt and attentive. Happy hour prices on bar menu options are hard to beat and the selections are not your normal "bar food." The 400 Block Burger is outstanding. It's not overly dressed but it is great meat properly cooked on a good bun.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful! A fantastic dining experience.
Unique dishes with lots of flavor.
Have been going here at least once a month with a friend who live close to the restaurant. Really haven't found a menu item that I would order again, so I've tried a variety of menu items (wonton soup is good. As we ordered, I indicated that I would like to take out some broccoli chicken and specifically stated that I did not want it spicy and NO garlic. Server said 'no problem' as I wanted to be sure she understood. When we were finishing our meal (had the chicken with cashews which was so-so)I asked for the take out order and once again emphatically stated no garlic, as did my friend. Well...got the order which I had intended to surprise my girlfriend with. I took it to her house (about 15 miles away) and she was pleasantly surprised until she opened it. Needless to say, it was full of garlic so she couldn't eat it (alergy). Wasn't about to go 15 miles back to the restaurant but did bring the meal back the next day and said I wanted my money back. The man whom I spoke to said he wasn't an owner and that the owners wouldn't be in for another couple of hours. I wasn't about to wait that long so I told him what happened and he took my name and phone number. This was 4 days ago and I still haven't heard anything. Soooo it looks like I'm out my $$ for the dinner which ended up being thrown out but Great Wall has just lost a customer for good. Won't be going back despite the Restaruant.com deal. As an aside, usually the service here is good but really wasn't all that good this time. Server immediately tried to up-sell a drink (which always turns me off) and she more or less disappeared after taking our order.
