The food is great especially the ox tail and it tasted even better this time for whatever reason. The workers are your typical friendly type which is of definite importance.
Our server was friendly and courteous. The food came out fast and hot. Everything was super tasty and portions were nicely sized.
I had not visited this spot in a while. I was pleasantly surprised by the growth. More staff to expedite orders and a higher level of service.
taste wasn't up to expectations. prices were too high. The roti item should be discontinues. It was $5 and hard to eat, with no taste to it. restaurant atmosphere was dull.
Atmosphere, ambiance, decor, staff and food was all excellent. I think for the process the portions were a little on the small side but still delicious. Recommend some sort of combo special, like surf & turf (filet & shrimp) maybe would make menu perfect

While the food was delicious, the sides were lukewarm. Seems as though they had been sitting, waiting for the entre to be added to the dish.
I reserve Bass Street for special occasions and wanted to experience their brunch for Easter. I will say that our experience did not meet our expectations. I consider Bass Street a top notch restaurant. However, the food option was very limited. They only offered two desserts; three if you want to include the muffins. Only coffee or tea was included. I paid $7.50 for three kids drinks. Afterwards, I compared their menu to another restaurant where we eat too and where my parents decided to go. The other reataurant offered a large variety of breakfast and dinner items, that included prime rib, hugh dessert option and beverages. In addition, our server also did not meet our expectation. Sometimes, I feel that when the gratuity is already added due to our party size, the services is not as good. I should never ask an attentive server to refill our drinks. Although,I will not eat there for brunch again. I will go back for their great steaks.
We sit at the bar whenever we go and the bartenders are always excellent.

Ate at bar. Smaller portion meals but just as flavorful as in main dining room. Best bar in region for Scotch drinkers like my husband. My pork chop was done to perfection and my husband loves this month's special hamburger. Service was great but we got there before they got to busy. We have date night here at least once s month. An excuse to dress up but casual dress is acceptable too.
