The wait staff was super attentive. They filled our water every time it got below half. The waitress made great food recommendations. They were pleasant to talk to. The food came out hot and just as we ordered it. They cleaned up the table in a timely fashion. The restaurant is not overly loud, and we were able to have a great conversation.
All employees were friendly, courteous, polite , knowledgeable and made me feel like a valued customer. This includes the valet, hostess, bartender and server.
Bar service was very slow. We had almost finished our entrees when our glasses of wine were served. 2 of the entrees were mediocre. Food is usually very good.
Delicious cuisine , great service, scenic setting but we weren't seated promptly. We were asked to wait in bar area. When I noticed empty indoor tables, I asked if we could be seated and we were. It's too bad the persons handling seating did not think to offer us indoor seating, which is what was requested at time dinner reservation was made.
Ophelia’s is truly a local treasure. From its casual-chic atmosphere to its tiered waterfront outdoor dining area, it is our “go to” spot for birthday and anniversary celebrations. It’s setting is only surpassed by the quality of food served.

Got there at 5pm, as soon as they opened. Saw tables filling up rapidly. It seems to be a popular spot, understandably. The food was awesome. Excellent attention from wait staff, which there was plenty of. Valet parking was mandatory due to limited parking. The decor and the view was stunning. I will be back
It was good but we were VERY disappointed when we were shown to our seating outside with no heat lamp nearby. I asked how cool it would be when I reserved our time and the answer was that there are heat lamps that take care of that. Not where we sat and we ate quickly and left before ordering any more. Your loss.
It is a delightful little place on the water with lights along the railing for outdoor dining.Jordan our waiter was great. My problem was when I reserved the outdoor table because inside was not available, I was assured there were heat lamps to keep us warm. NOT ENOUGH lamps!! Where we were there were none and it made us very uncomfortable and cut our dining short...no dessert or extra drinks. Good grief. Invest in more lamps if you are going to offer outdoor dining or at least be honest about the lack of lamps.

I enjoy the food and atmosphere at this restaurant very much.
Our waitress, Lis, was very friendly, personable, and helpful setting the atmosphere for an excellent evening experience. We were provided ample time to enjoy our libations and appetizers before the entrees were ordered. Scallops cooked to perfection, vegan dishes prepared on order, grouper on grits with a fantastic sauce were our choices. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, dessert of mango sorbet (alone worth the trip) and crème brulee that was referred to at our table as "the best I ever tasted!" was shared. This dining gem may not be easy to get to with valet parking an engineering feat in itself but well worth the effort.

808 is one of our very favorite restaurants=- it is dimly lit, quiet and friendly. The food is superb, the waiters are excellent. It is a great place to go for a relaxed dinner.
The view is superb, the food is delicious (especially the Eastern Shore Benedict for Sunday brunch) & the service (kudos to our server, Melissa who was friendly,efficient & genuinely seemed to enjoy her job) was spot on. We were on vacation & thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Ophelia's starting with the complimentary Mimosas.

We reserved our evening via open table. When we arrived we were told it was the wrong Ophelias but they were extremely accommodating in finding us a table. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere is always nice.

The smbiance is awesome, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious and artfully presented.
Food was great. Service was not good. Server was preoccupied with something, we sat twice waiting with empty drinks for a long time. It wasn't just our server; table next to us had the same experience.

food was wonderful, as was our waitress. Unfortunately, it took 2 hours from the time we ordered our food until we got it! There was obviously a problem in the kitchen. The manager apologized profusely, and treated us to dessert ... which went a long way to making up for the long wait.

We were celebrating a birthday, but nobody acknowledged it. I expected to feel a little special, but didn't. I ordered the veal chop and it was very fatty and disappointing. My husband ordered the lazy lobster which was quite good. We've been going to Ophelia's for almost 20 years and this was the most disappointing visit yet.
Great atmosphere, food and service. Pretty outdoor setting, all of our entrees were excellent and the staff was very friendly and professional. Pricey but worth it for a fine dining experience. Would definitely recommend and plan to visit again next year on our yearly trip to Siesta Key.

Didn't care for side dishes, and one fish dish was very garlicky, which wasn't mentioned on the menu.

Great service. Great food. Great view. I've said we would not go back because it's out of our price range. I had soup and salad, he had the cheapest entree, we had three beers between us and still spent $87, after using the $15 certificate.
The lamb ordered was cooked properly but was full of fat and grissle and difficult to cut between each chop. Disappointed and would not order again.

I'm a regular diner at the 808 and have never had a bad meal. Helpful staff , plenty of choices on the menu for adults and kids all in a relaxed environment.

What kept it from being excellent was the waiter. He was impatient and, at the end, unattentive (i.e., had to chase him down to get our check).
We are regulars at Ophelia's 9 months a year and that is for a reason. Consistency of service, quality and environment. Our favorite waiter (Chaba) and all of the reservation staff treat us wonderfully.

I love Ophelia's. Tonight I had the sea bass and it was delicious. A glass of wine and the beautiful view of the bay completes a perfect dining experience.
"Michael" was our waiter. Very calm and pleasant young man. He helped us decide between a couple choices. Excellent decisions. Glad we decided to sit in the bar area. Very busy. Could not get a reservation. I called And left a message but no return call. Mother's Day weekend. BUSY ! BUT they handled the crowd well. Beautiful meal presentation. Valet only parking that night which was good because it decided to rain (after a long drought. People with outdoor reservation had to wait a few minutes at the bar to be able to sit inside. Again, the staff handled it ALL !! Yes yes, will return to Ophelia's !! High end $$$$ so be prepared. Special occasion dinner us!

Great overall! Beautiful water view, lots of space between tables, not too noisy for conversation, great service, and the best meal we have had in months! My husband's lobster bisque was outstanding, with lots of large pieces of lobster. My salad was equally good, not drowned in dressing, but filled with lots of flavor and texture. The mahi mahi was superb, as was the shrimp with marguez sausage. Good drinks, good wine, great time! We can't wait to return.

The staff was helpful and very courteous. They quickly discerned that we were experienced and knowledgeable about the cuisine, but were well equipped to assist a novice diner. The food was delicious! Served hot and fresh. Yum.

The ceasar salad was extremely salty, so when I received the pasta main meal it seemed like there was no taste to it. Maybe the cook did not drain the riggatoni.

There was a second server who continued to come to the table and undermine the first server's work. She lowered the experience a full point in both my opinion and my wife's, to the point that she was the first thing we discussed when we left the parking lot. The server we had was doing a great job, which made us both wonder why this second server was doing anything, and also made some of the second server's questions quite rude.

Best East Indian buffet in town!
Food was delicious, service was excellent (a little too much service if that's possible). Samosas were very tasty - loved the crisp outer batter. We also had the naan, chicken tadoori masala, veggie korma and saag paneer. Everything was tasty - just the right spiciness for us (medium). You can also ask for mild or hot.
Haveli has great, made to order Indian food. I'm vegetarian, and they will go out of their way to accommodate my dining needs. Mother/son team of proprietors are wonderful.

The service was fine. The food was excellent the first time we ate there. No now. One dish was greasy and the reita was very diluted. We were surprised.
My friend liked the food a lot but I found it much too spicy for me, even though I had said several times and was reassured several times that it wouldn't be spicy. The owner/manager was very nice to try to please me with another dish. But by then, my friend had already finished eating. I think it would have been better to just tell me to take food from the buffet so we could eat together. I'll come again but most likely only for the buffet.
