Good friendly service, but complex and confusing menu selection. Really poor acoustics in the room made for difficult communications, with frequent repeating / confirmation of order details. Management should get rid of the echo chamber acoustics in the room. Food, value of the meal, and friendly competent staff make for a good eating experience.
all the food was very good! ribs, cole slaw, beans, and the buns! Yum
The staff was so friendly, the ribs were so good, the sides of coleslaw and beans were very tasty and the pecan pie rocked!

When ever my Brothers come to town we have to visit Dicky's Barbecue. We all enjoy our meals. Our 95 year mother loved it to.
Friendly servers, clean restaurant and awesome food. However, they did forget to pack my 2 sides for one of my meals. Didn't realize until I got home, 90 miles away.

It was OK. It was just plain barbecue. Barbecue sauces didn’t have the best flavor. The food got called because I had to sit and wait for the other people in my party to order.
The ribs were not very warm, the jalapeño beans were mushy like they had sat there all day. They couldn’t get my certificate to work and said they thought it was counterfeit. We finally sat down to eat and I told them to figure it out, then let me know, because it wasn’t counterfeit!
More like a subway kinda joint. Everything was cold. Not an actual restaurant with waiters/waitresses.
Everyone is very helpful and the owner is always very friendly and nice to talk to! They were sold out of chicken the night we went but he assured us it was because they want to make their food is freshly smoked. The food quality is always very good and our kids love the ice cream cones!
Portions were so small for the fact I ordered the big meal. 5 pieces of sausage is not a portion

food good,service good except ice cream machine ran out and they could not or would not refill.
The owner came out to check on us and even cleared our plates when we were finished. My son has nut allergies and he checked on the ingredients for the ice cream so my son could enjoy it.
The atmosphere was not very comfortable. The prices were very expensive for the atmosphere and type of restaurant it is.

Make sure and keep enough tea on-hand. We were disappointed that we weren't able to try the tea. The server was gracious enough to let us "sample" some of the beef, since we ordered just the chicken. It was delicious.s
