If you get past the old decor, the food was very good. Old style greasy spoon of the past and that is a good thing.
Always a great place to get the best pizza. We carry out the pizza as we have several younger children. However it seems a friendly cozy bar environment.

Roasted chicken is the best on the planet!!!! We drive 30 miles just for that, but the pizza is great as are the staff and owners...always fun to visit with Rory!
Cheese sticks came out half cooked. When brought up to the waitress, she took them to the kitchen, threw out the 2 that we had taken bites out of and had the remaining whole ones re-heated. Dinner/hamburgers took a long time to show up at the table.

They should be more upfront about how long of a wait the chicken is. It's worth the wait, but it was about 30 minutes.

the waitress was very attentive. But I had a order to go and they brought it out to me right away. I was hoping they would make it more at the end of our meal. they did keep it warm for me.

We had special needs with a wheelchair that made it a bit awkward, but not a dealbreaker. It's not a glamororous place, by any stretch. But the service was prompt. The staff was very nice. The food was delicious. For a Sunday evening, this place was quite busy. Obviously a reflection on everything they're doing right by their loyal customers.

diningroom is small and usually full but the food is great and fast. servers maybe shouldn't eat and drink at the bar while they work.
We celebrated my husbands birthday. It was more of a dive than we had expected, friendly service.
ordered 12 pcs chicken to go. Very disappointed to get home and find 3 wings burned to a crisp and non edible. Not happy to pay for food we couldn't eat but wasn't worth a 10 mile drive to go back
