good service from Vincent filet of beef was very tough. the waiter graciously took it back to the kitchen and I selected the scallop dish instead. Scallops were excellent. waiter was attentive and not hovering over the table. he was there when needed.

The scallops were cooked perfectly.. the veal was tender and the onion rings are the best.. the lobster croquettes were a treat. My wife enjoyed her drink very much.

Food and atmosphere were nice & the wait staff was courteous. It was our first time dining there because of Restaurants.com - thought we would try it!
The shrimp/vegetable spring roll appetizer was delicious and hot. The turkey club sandwich was not what I expected but the quality of the ingredients was high. We were disappointed that the eggs, french fries, and cappucino were not hot enough for us.
The lobster croquettes were delicious. The scallops were the best. The pork chops need more flavor.. not hot enough and would be better if were cut into two.

Other than bread being stale and soggy (as if it had been defrosted) the rest of the meal was outstanding. Great appetizers and entrees and all at very reasonably prices.

The ambiance was lovely. The food was very good. We did not order any seafood other then our fried calamari as our appetizer, which was good. We had the hanger steak and pork chops. Both were good. The tiramisu was amazing as was the chocolate molten cake. Service was excellent. Very nice and very enjoyable.
Server was confused regarding the restaurant.com gift certificate. Co versatile between myself waiter and manager was had to resolve but in front of other customers and my party of guests.

Well when a budweiser cost $8 that cost them 50 cents I call that quite a mark up. This is not NYC... food was a 6 out of 10 would I go back no. My testaurant discount was not worth it. Buyer beware.

Their "special" appetizer, Maine Lobster Roll, which I paid $14 for came out slathered and swimming in mayo and was served on two hamburger rolls that I could have bought at Pathmark. The main course, scallops, which I paid $26 for, the scallops were the size of nickels. Very disappointing. This is not what we are used to at this restaurant.

Didn't appreciate when the check showed the bottle was $10 more! The scallops were very good.. Large and tender. The Veal tbone was tasty but not even warm.. I asked for it to be heated but was still not cooked enough in the thickest part.. the coffee was very good and the canonelli (sic) were delicious.

It was soooooooooo noisy that we couldn't enjoy our friends and couldn't wait to leave. we sat next to the glass petition near the bar area and the crowd at the bar was raucously loud. Too bad since we all loved the food. Also the service was below par.

As usual, the meal was delicious. My husband and I had the crab cakes and arancini toscano for appetizers and the scallops and sirloin steak for entrees. Everything was foodie worthy. The service too was impeccable. We love this restaurant!

Although I enjoyed my meal, my kids penne w/red sauce had a 'sauce from the bottle' taste. My red wine was too warm, and was told that all the reds would be same temperature (-).
We initially were cold and informed the waiter who immediately suggested we move to another location in the restaurant that adequately addressed our need.tasty and arrived at our table in a short amount of time.

The overall experience was marred only by the noise level. Some of this was out of the control of the management (a loud child), but part of it could have been controlled (the employees talking near the bar).

Lobster roll, no flavor and lobster was like rubber. Spaghitti and seafood dish. Dull, poorly flavored and minimum amount of sea food except for many scallops and again rubbery lobster parts. Desert , not too bad, the oinly part of meal that was satisfactory.
Our meal was enjoyable, and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. We had a very nice first dining experience at Cafe Regatta.
The food, drinks and service were all excellent. I must return to try more of their menu.

Cornish Hen was tough and cold on the inside. My wife sent it back for Salmon which was good. I had the prosciutto wrapped Halibut which was very dry.I must say that this is the first time in all the times we have been to the restaurant that we did not like it. One other comment when my wife ordered the hen she asked if she could substitute the kale for something else and was told the chef does not like to do this. I found that to be a real turn0ff.

As soon as I walked into the door I had a bad feeling! The restaurant was very dark and dismal and had dried dead flowers in vases everywhere. The menu looked promising with a nice array of cuisine from Italian to seafood to steaks and chops.We ordered the Burrata appetizer which was beautifully displayed with fresh basil and roasted peppers, tomatoes. The cheese was nice and creamy and we were very happy at this point.We asked the waiter if the Swordfish Livonese over broccoli rabe and the Rigatoni Norma with roasted eggplant, basil, mozzarella cheese and San Marzano tomatoes were good, he assured us they were!We should have stopped at the appetizer, because what followed was a train wreck!! The pasta of the Rigatoni Norma was under cooked making it unpleasantly chewy. The eggplant, tomatoes and cheese atop was just a mushy mess. The sauce was not good at all!My swordfish was cut way to thick and was raw in the middle, plus it had a very pungent fish taste and smell! The broccoli rabe was over cooked and was a slimy mess!This is the first time in Tasty ladies history that we left our plates almost full, paid the bill and walked out!! We went to eat dinner down the block where we knew it would be good!This restaurant needs to just close down, there was just too much wrong.

We usually have great food at this restaurant. This evening, my husband's swordfish livornese was wonderful, my seafood over pasta was fair, a disappointment! The pasta was overcooked and the temperature of the food wasn't hot. I asked for fra diavolo and didn't get it. Sometimes the cook staff doesn't read or acknowledge what the waiter writes down. The restaurant in January is kept too cold. I love this place but this time it wasn't as good as others. The arugula salad was actually wonderful and large to share. It was my main dish that wasn't up to par. Owing to many good experiences I would still go back.
It was very cold inside while having dinner. The temp outside was 24 degrees. We ate our delicious dinner with our coats on.

Food always good, severs fine, but the martinis were less than 1/2 the liquid volume they should be, barely filling half of the smaller glasses they were served in We told our server (who should have noticed himself) and he did get us some more, but even then, our drinks didn't make it to normal size.

Service was very slow unless you were a regular. We noticed people that were greeted as repeat diners were served immediately. Food was also very bland. Fried calamari had breaking the fell off and sauce that had no taste. I had sword fish livornesecover sautéed spinach which I order regularly at other places. There was one olive, the dish was bland and thexspinach tasteless.
The main course portions were high priced and skimpy in the amount on the plate. I ordered Scallops with Capers and Fingerling Potatoes. I had one caper and half of a tiny potato. My friend ordered the lobster tails and they were salty. The spring roll appetizer was warm, not hot when served. The ice cream dessert had ice crystals in the chocolate flavored one.

Food was generally excellent, but portion sizes were inconsistent depending on dish. Our waiter made an error and brought my daughter the wrong dish - and we all had to start eating without her. Her gnocchi special finally came out and were unremarkable - the least favorite dish at the table. The waiter also forgot to bring our side order of broccoli rabe and by the time we reminded him and received it, it was cold. I think our dining experience would have been better with a different waiter, but we were generally very pleased with our meal. The busboy was excellent and very attentive and pleasant. Would definitely return (but hope for a different server!)

I asked him when we first sat down, then asked the bus boy twice and then the waiter again....The waiter was very helpful making in making a recommendation and substituting. The swordfish was wonderful EXCEPT for it being smothered with tarragon and ruined the flavor of the fish. It is a very strong herb.I happen to hate the taste so that if I had known about the tarragon, I would have asked for the fish plain with simply a slice of fresh lemon. Also two big parties were going on and a table was set up for us near the rest room. It was quite noisy. Thankfully, a screen was put up so that my party could have a little privacy. However I understand that it was a Sunday afternoon and not a "date night" environment.

We arrived a bit early for the dinner menu (3PM) which we preferred but we were offered it when they saw our disappointment. (Too early for the Specials however.) We all ordered fish/pasta dishes and our choices were fresh and delicious. Wonderfully flavored and beautifully served. Desserts were extraordinary! Service was friendly and good. It's a small, pleasant restaurant and wewill certainly return.

The bread was stale, the wine list was outdated (the list offered a 2007 but they tried to pass off a 2009 of the same wine) and the service was just okay. The cooked food, however, was pretty good.

The atmosphere is very nice and the deserts are amazing!Nice people and nice feel to the place, I'd go back for desert and coffee at the bar sometime. That said, brunch was mediocre and we were not ofered the full brunch inclusions (no juice offered to either of us or "cocktail" for hubby). Crab cakes were all bread!

I requested a round table at the time of reservation. Was advised no problem. When we arrived, the table setup was rectangle not round. I feel I should have been notified. We were very disappointed with the table.

Service was a little slow but they were busy, but the waiter apologized without me even saying anything and told us that desert was on the house, very nice of them, and they were delicious. A return trip will happen soon.
the service was excellent. The restaurant.com offer did not say that the bill had to be paid in cash so we used a credit card. When that was refused, we were lucky we had enough cash to pay the bill or we would have been very embarassed.
