We enjoy Bruno’s because the food is always fresh and cooked to order. The service was excellent. The environment is appealing. Our Grandchildren & family love going to Breakfast & Lunch. We like going for Dinner also I enjoy the homemade soups. And it is BYOB ????

My girlfriend and I like eating here after our hikes in the Wissahickon . The waitresses are very friendly and professional. They have seating inside,outside and an on an enclosed porch, so everyone is comfortable .

Sat outside - cool breeze and excellent service. Good for salads, burgers, sandwiches and milkshakes. My wife and I took our grandson and met our sons and their wives. Good place for an inexpensive eeekday meal

Our bike club usually eats at Bruno's after riding the Forbidden Drive. They have always been very accommodating to our group.
They ran out of Chicken for all of the main entrees so we were limited to Sandwich and Salad choices. Unfortunately most in the party were looking for entrees. The shakes were watery - not thick. Service a little slow. Items came sporatically - a few we even needed to remind them we hadn't received yet. Overall not bad - prices surprisingly were quite pleasing which was a pleasant surprise.

We were in a rush. We told the waiter what we wanted as soon as he came over. The food and drinks were out in minutes and were delicious as always!

Service is not the fastest, BUT it is worth waiting. I pass through town a few times a year aNd MANY years ago I stumbled across TBLSS. I've had a different sandwich every time and they have all been tasty. Now, I always stop here when I'm in town or passing through. The sandwiches aren't all bread like some of the big chains. They are shorter but they are well filled. I'll continue visiting this shop when possible.

Wonderful milkshakes ! Food was hot and fresh. Weather permitting you can eat outside or on the porch.

Went for lunch, ate outside (lunch). Next time may eat inside traffic heavy made it a bit noisy. Service very good it feels like you are going back it time. A local flavored menu, reasonable pricing.

When it's a beautiful day, I can't think of a nicer place to enjoy a relaxing lunch outside overlooking the park. Plus the food has always been very good.

We've been to Bruno's many times over the years. Sometimes Tim can be heard talking loudly to the staff while trying to get the orders out, and it's very audible inside the restaurant.
Waitress was brand new and it was apparent she had not been given any training. She didn't know the menu and she had no customer service skills

This is a casual but quaint spot. The food was good, the service was exceptional and I enjoyed have a nice meal with my son.
The hostess was very kind seating us. The restaurant was loud, the door the servers are constantly coming in and out of was squeaky and the food was very bland .

Excellent chicken fingers, good stuffed shells, won't get the egg plant parm again but would go back for the food. Restaurant could use some updating and cleaning but appropriate for the style restaurant.

We all had sandwiches with the exception of one Caesar salad. The cheesesteaks were all ok and the pork sandwich was good too. Overall everything was ok, but nothing was memorable. Oh yeah, our waitress was really nice and did a good job.

I ordered a cheese steak with pepperoni with no tomatoes(offered on menu) extra onions and sauce ($.25 extra. I had to return it three times. 1) no pepperoni and tomatoes 2} pepperoni with cheese and sauce (still had tomatoes) no onions. Requested onions in separate container, had to remove tomatoes myself. Other orders had items e.g. peppers not on plate at time of original order.

Staff was nice and Service was good. Food was reasonably priced and it was a nice serving size, including the fresh side salad. The Buffalo wings had little to no spicy, but were fried very nicely if you like a crispy crust, which I do. My husband said his chicken cheesesteak was pretty good, but my pasta was a bit bland. The one complaint that I have are our two wine glasses came out smeared and greasy. It made me want to ask for a paper cup, but instead I asked for hot water and clean them myself. Overall I would return and try something other than pasta for my entree.

While the restaurant is dated and the service was slow (but friendly servers who seemed to be doing their best dealing with the mess in the kitchen), the main reason for the poor review is that the food was among the worst my family and I have experienced. There were issues with all of our entrees and the table next to us walked out when their chicken steak had raw chicken. Regarding the food, the meatballs served with their spaghetti were well beyond their expiration date. I ordered tomato spinach soup that was brown with no spinach and the taste was bland and unidentifiable as tomato. It tasted like watered-down gravy. The broth in their chicken noodle soup tasted like I would imagine dishwater would taste and I would have much preferred Campbell's condensed soup. Our food was so bland it was almost inedible. The servers were friendly enough but we left puzzled as to why the restaurant was even half full on a Saturday night. If any restaurant could use a visit from chefs Gordon Ramsey or Robert Irvine, this is it!

The restaurant billed itself as being renovated. I think I was there 10 years ago or longer, so was expecting more of a nicer ambiance. It looked a bit dumpy, unfortunately. The food was mediocre. We had potato skins but the only thing on them was bacon. Potato skins ALWAYS have cheese and green onions and come with sour cream. The pasta dishes ordered were heavily laden with cream sauces that might have been better with more thoughtful seasonings. Most of the food ordered had similar shortcomings - improper preparation, not enough seasoning, not the expected accompaniments, etc.

we were on the porch on a cold night (10). They were supposed to have had the heater on to warm it before we got there. Had to keep our coats on for quite a while
