We did not eat at the restaurant, we got take out but we Loved It and my sisters, who picked it up, said the staff was very friendly and helpful.
First, shorted me on my change. Then when food came out, we didn't receive one of the sides we very clearly ordered. Upon opening the box of "meat platter" the portion was very very small, especially for the price charged. The taste was suitable, but very disappointed at that point do to the quantity and quality.
The meat tasted like it had been microwaved. The cuts of meats were awful. I couldn’t even tell you what they were. This is NOT barbecue. By far the worst “barbecue” I’ve ever had. The building itself is run down and lacks character. The dining is a few outdated tables and chairs.

We ordered carry out and it was so tasty. We order the medium sauce and it had flavor a small kick and you could still taste the meat. Yum. We tried a hot link, the ribs, chicken, beans, potato salad and the corn bread. We enjoyed all of our items. Eager to go back.
It took over a hour to complete our order. The cornbread and beans were of low quality. The taste of the food was marginal.

Pork and beef were good. Rib tips not good, just a piece of bone with basically no meat.

Pulled pork Beans and potato salad were very good. Cornbread was dry and the ribs were tough and overdone. They were disappointing.
They serve good food but it's better they do something on the place to attract more customers.
friendly service, food was excellent, taste was great! the sauce, medium is more "hot/spicy" but puts a kick into it. I am from Ventura, Ca and highly recommend this place and will return again! So much food, you will have leftovers for sure!

This is the second time I've gotten 2 slabs from these guys for a party and everyone loved them both times. There was a difference, the ones picked up hot on a Saturday were smokier than those picked up cold packed for reheating for a Sunday game. The warm ones were done with no sauce and the cold were done with the mild sauce (ordered like that). Both were great, but I personally preferred the no sauce smokier rib with the ability to add sauce afterwards. Both times I had tons of leftovers - and it wasn't because my guests weren't eating! They loved them too. Ribs are good, tender and meaty. I'll use these guys again! I've not eaten at the restaurant but the pre-ordered catering is great.
