When you can go back in it was real nice atmosphere is lade back it's injoyable place to eat in!

They only allowed one “deal” even though there were 5 couples
It was a little cold and I was looking forward to the fireplace being used. It is usually lit in the winter
Las time we went ( over 1 yr ago) we were unimpressed but it was okay. This time we both thought it was much better. That was one reason took so long coming back. Would be willing to try sooner this time!

The food is the best BBQ we have found in the area. The atmosphere is good and the service is great. The only downside is the pricing is a little high - otherwise the rating would be excellent.
We had the brisket and pork. They were both tender and moist. We chose potato salad and baked beans as our sides. Others in our group had the corn casserole and cole slaw. Everything was delicious and the serving size on the meats was piled high. We will definitely be going back.
Although the staff was friendly, the BBQ just wasn't very good. The brisket was dry my pork ribs were decent and all the sides were watery and pickle flavored. Macaroni in the macaroni salad was undercooked, and the BBQ beans we're watery and not very flavorful.

It was good but would been better if it were hot. It was barely room temperature

The ribs were so tender! The corn casserole and slaw are favorites.
Great place for families to have a meal! Food was excellent (except Macaroni & Cheese had a lot of PEPPER in it!) We really enjoyed everything else.

Need more larger party table settings. We had six, but had to sit a group of four and a group of 2.

Nice portions Good customer service and clean dining area Food food reasonable prices. I would like t o see French fries or tater tots added to the menu instead of potato chips . The Mac n cheese is very sticky with not much flavor and our grand children always have a hard one finding a side dish they like.

Food is always good. Order taker isn't very nice, is bossy and obnoxious and obviously isn't happy about the restaurant.com coupons Dining room staff is quite helpful and nice. Would appreciate milk being added as an option for drink AND friench fries/steak fries added to the menu. Restaurant is always clean and neat in appearance and our order always comes quickly

Small side portions and bought rolls. The overall price was too much for the meals. Not worth it. I have been before and it has went down hill. Bad service, not very friendly when they realized I was using a restaurant.com certificate. So even with $15 off, I still spent over $50 for 3 adults and a 4 year old.

The restaurant is located right off of I69 so it's very convenient if you are traveling. The food is excellent.
Staff was friendly and answered all questions about different menu items. All 7 meals were delivered in record time. Restaurant was dining area was clean.

love the atmosphere very laid back and quiet and on the cold days that fire place is awesome. Very clean and staff is always so pleasant and checking to see if they can help you with refills or anything else. They have the best pork manhattans I have ever tasted.
Be aware the prices on the board for brisket are not correct. They will add on $1.00 to any meal with brisket in it! I think they need to put the correct price on the board like they have for all the other items.

I've wanted to try this barbecue for a few years, so I was disappointed we made the 30 minute drive - when I've had better at City Barbecue and Famous Dave's. Bird's was only mediocre.

Very large serving of meats. We chose the two meat combo with two sides and roll. Everything was good except the roll.
You need bigger plates for ribs and baked potatoes. : )

sat afternoon about 5. Waitress was super nice. Didn't realize it was cafeteria style. I had 2 meat (pulled beef & pulled pork ) meal. meat was so-so, corn casserole was dry. also meat didn't taste fresh. Wife says hers was just okay, 3 meat meal ( pulled beef, pulled chicken, ribs ) & didn't care for flavor of chicken. Meals are decent sized for price. I would give 2nd. chance to see if just an off day
