People were friendly and the food was good. I will go back again.

When we arrived at 2:45, there was a sign in the door that they would be closing at 3 to celebrate Martin Luther King Day. We appreciated that and asked for our food to go but the friendly staff said we could eat in. This was so kind and we really appreciated it! Angel’s is not a ritzy place with all the bells and whistles but what it has is great service, OMG food, and a feeling of comfort and home cooking. This gem in Sanford is the real deal of Southern cooking! Generous portions (enough for leftovers!) and fair prices. Go here!
