Restaurant closed early due to low traffic so we were served i nthe bar area which was fine.
we sat at the bar, the bartender was wonderful, very attentive, made our experience great.
Plank Salmon was delicious, generous house salad...
Good selection, good food, good service, moderate prices.
Service was excellent, drinks and wine were good, and we enjoyed our entrees. This was our first experience with their updated menu.

The food was excellent! It was obvious that the all orders were freshly made. The salads were crisp, the chicken was juicy (not dried out) and the fresh mozzarella on the Turkey Club was delicious! 21 Lake is a "do-over" for us! Highly recommended!
We were seated immediately, but than waitstaff disappear. But everthing ended on a good note.
It is kind of a sterile dining experience. They could have better lighting and ambiance.

Slow service (we were early because we wanted to catch a 7 pm movie), tepid soup, raw salmon, sloppy salad, stale Porter Ale.

We frequent Fairfields because the people that work at Fairfields are friendly. The service is wonderful. The food is always delicious, the specials change every week.
Servers have too much time in coming around after coffee.
Pre dinner drink was not brought to table and had to be reordered. Requested steak was requested medium rare and was served well done. Potatoes were cold.
This restaurant is a bit underrated. It takes a while for the servers to get going, but once they do they are very attentive and friendly. The food while not winning any awards is satisfying and pretty good. It is a nice quiet atmosphere.

It was a very nice place but the food was just okay. I ordered an ahi tuna sandwich everything but the tuna was good, over cooked and 2 thin pieces of tuna. My girlfriend had a lobster roll that didn't agree with her. it may have been a mayonnaise thing with her and not the food.

House salad swimming in dressing. Had to send back. Did not ask for a replacement. Was told our original order of fish dish was not available. Chef never informed anyone of that fact. Chicken dish and watermelon salad were OK, nothing special. Our server Anne C was attentive and very pleasant. We will try them again thinking this was just a "bad" day for the restaurant.
The service is great at Fairfield Lounge. Robert is attentive and always entertaining. We always get what we order, just the way we enjoy it.

While the food was very good and the service very pleasant, we found that the table where we were seated to have remnants from a previous diner. There were crumbs on the tablecloth and a couple food/coffee stains. It appears that they cleared away the major items and didn't change the top tablecloth. Not impressed by this.
Annie, our waitress was excellent and was great in helping us select our meal as this was the first time we diner there.Filet was excellent.
The service is excellent. Our mixologist Robert is excellent, friendly and entertaining. The food we ordered was wonderful. My husband had steak and it was cooked to perfection. I had the pork and that was also fabulous. We always have a great meal at Fairfield's. Highly recommended.

Noise from adjacent lounge.Filet stringy.Osso Buco Never saw this presentation before. Overly rich cream sauce;No one there. Only 2 other patrons.
We dined on a quiet Sunday in the lounge. They gave you both menus to order from. The friendly bartender was also the waiter. Food was good and the sandwich I had was huge. The entree my wife ordered was very small.
I found two hairs in my food at different points in my meal. It was not good.
Eggplant dish could have used a little more eggplant, but it tasted great!

Best brunch in Fairfield County! Great selection of buffet items.
The food was excellent and the staff treated us very well.
Had made reservations days in advance; they were not on the books. They were "out of" two items on a limited menu. even though we were early for a 7:00 reservation, with only one other couple in the dining room. When the meals came, they were for THAT couple! The bar had no apricot brandy and could make only peach sours. A comedy of errors, and we shall never return. Food was pricey and just average.

A most enjoyable experience and a fine place to celebrate a special occasion. Our waitress, Angela, was friendly, informative and added to making this a memorable dinner. Even the chef came to extend his greeting. We must do this again.

We were the only diners in the restaurant which is not a good sign. It was so quiet, the server was also running the front desk of the hotel. Their online menu does not coincide with their actual menu. Prices are different and online it says all entrees include a salad but that was not the case.
Robert in the Lounge is the best at hisjob.He is friendly, he does his job wonderfully.We look forward to returning.The food is excellent. We both ordered steaks, they were cooked to perfection.
We were the only two people in the restaurant until shortly before we were done when a party of three arrived.
Dinner and Service was wonderful.
The meals were very good, but a little pricey given you no longer get a salad. Robert is outstanding . . .

we had dinner w/ my cousin from from TX and had really nice time. the service and food were very good. our waiter was very attentive, but we never felt rushed. we would go back again.
It was nice. We were in the sunroom area. This area seemed to lack a server, You had to basically track one down. They were all in the main room it seemed. Food was fine- omlettes took a long time. The beef that they had at the omlette station was very tough and hard to cut.Great dessert selection.
we each had steak Mine strip was ordered med weel my husband's was ordered med. He got a med well fillet(ugg) and i got a med strip. They offered to right the order but by that point it was late. They did give us dessert on the house, Would have preferred better steak. We were the only ones in the dining room at the time so there was no reason not to get the order correct
I have been to the Ethan Allen for corporate events and didn't know they had such a great restaurant on premises. I had also been in the bar area for happy hour. the restaurant is hidden from the lobby area. They should do more promos to advertise this hidden gem.
Very comfortable surroundings and pleasant atmosphere for socializing.
Lunch was wonderful and Amy the bartender was a sweetheart.
Just wanted to get away.
