The food is always good, but the twilight dinner with a good choice of all the courses is a bargain Even when the small place is crowded , it is pleasant and when the weather allows and the french doors are open , it is a nice comfortable experience

The appetizers were very tasty and the portions were generous. The wild salmon was seasoned well. The shrimp and scallop dish I'd rate a B-. The warm apple tart looked good and tasted even better

My husband ordered the sauteed shrimp and said they were overcooked. The waiter, who seemed to be new, did not tell us the specials and we assumed they were all on the "specials menu."

Have enjoyed every time we have eaten at Pascalou. The menu is extensive and well executed and the prices reasonable. A definite standout that I would and have recommended without reservation.

I ordered the Scallop appetizer at the recommendation of the waiter. I asked if they were "Dry Day Boat Scallops", as opposed to the processed kind. The waiter assured me they were. AS a result, we also ordered the Scallop Entrée and the Lemon Sole.Both Scallop dishes were unfortunately the processed scallops I specifically was trying to avoid. I asked the waiter about it and he gave me a confused look and admitted he had no clue what I was asking him before I ordered, which is just unacceptable - he should have asked someone rather than allow me to order $45 worth of food when he did not understand my question.The lemon Sole was very good.Thankfully, they removed the appetizer from the bill without me having to ask them to do so.

The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. The drinks were too strong and almost undrinkable. We waited for a stupidly long time to get our check. Our waitress disappeared and our water glasses sat empty for quite a while. Dirty plates stayed on the table and I felt as though the entire place was understaffed. Rack of lamb was on the menu but when I ordered it, I was told they were serving lamb chops instead. UGH

Please note: The service could be improved with some training. Do not stack the dirty dishes on people plates at the table. It gives the restaurant a "diner" atmosphere. Remove the dirty dishes but do not stack in front of the customer. And certainly not in front of the customer on the customer's plate. Tacky!
