The taste of the food was shockingly bad. The mac & cheese had very little cheese & was dry. Turkey smothered in gravy-turkey wings had no drum part and tasted like they were cooked a week ago and sat around and got dried. Fish was small with little meat. Greens were just ok. Overall, food was lousy. Do not waste your money. Unfortunately, my Restaurant.com certificates are not exchangeable so I plan to buy fried chicken hopefully that is ok. I am shocked, as the food had been exceptable before this trip and that is why several months ago I brought 7 Restaurant.com Certificates.

This is a take out only restaurant. We ordered by phone and our meals were ready when we arrived. We bought two platters. One with BBQ chicken,Mac and cheese and cabbage. The other was BBQ short ribs, corn, tomatoes and okra, and sweet potatoes. We ate our meals and sampled everything on each other's platters. Both of us enjoyed everything. We will definitely be going back for more.

the only problem was the fried shrimp batter was sticky which tells me that the flour was wet in the processing of frying other than that the greens/mac cheese was good. Will return to try the ribs

The food was made fresh, not too much and not too little, just right. The potato salad, sweet potato, fish chicken wings, okra, spare ribs, were cooked to perfection. Yes I would good there without the coupons.

First, the service was great. I had the ribs, turkey wings, rice & gravy, string beans, greens, mac & cheese. All was very tasty and I will order those meals again. The mac & cheese was good as I an not one to eat much of that dish, even when I make it since I am not a cheese eater. It was the right amount and flavor. The gravy on the turkey was good and thick not thin and watery. I recommend this restaurant and will be dining with them again. My food was ready when I arrived.

The owner was friendly, but I must be honest about the food....It was ok at best...THEY MICROWAVE THE SIDES!!!!!! Its not fresh food! I saw the guy open the fridge and microwave the food- I got the fried talipia, which was ok but couldve used some more seasoning. The mac and cheese was...ok! You could tell they used velveeta. I also got the small BBQ Wings, which tasted like fried wings with STORE bought BBQ sauce.....nothing original about it, but it was ok. The ABSOLUTE WORST CORNBREAD...I mean, it tasted like DEATH...I hate DRY cornbread with plastic around it. Its good for the price though...but dont order too much.

I called the food in the order was wrong the chicken wings was too small the potatoes salad was salty and I orders smother pork chops they had too put the gravey in the microwave too heat it up then poured it over the chops the greens had too much greases in them the worst soul food I ever had now I see why it's never crowded don't waste your money or time. I gave it too my dogs. For real. Just plain. Nasty

I waited 40 minutes for my food & when I finally got the food it was the WRONG food-The cook offered to cook the right food for me but I didn't want to wait 40 more minutes. I was a disappointed in the service

It's a takeout spot with a table for two to sit if they want to eat...customer service was ok, the wait wasnt bad for one platter (about 15 minutes), but the food was....barely average.... I guess with some seasoning, it could be alright.
