  1. Enter the 10-digit code from your Gift Card and the zip code where you would like to dine. Click “Find A Restaurant” to search for restaurants.
  2. On the next page, you’ll receive a message with the available credit. The value of the Gift Card will be automatically applied to your session and saved to your Restaurant.com account when you sign in. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one to save your Gift Card, or credit. Any remaining value on the Gift Card will be saved to your account to be used at a later date. If you decide not to redeem in this session after you login, the Gift Card is also saved to your account under “Gift Cards.”
  3. Once you are ready to use your credit, browse participating restaurants by radius, zip code, city, cuisine and more. Our Restaurant Deals, or certificates, vary from restaurant to restaurant, so you may be able to redeem for more than one Restaurant Deal, or certificate, (in any available denomination) with your balance.
  4. Once you’ve selected your restaurant and denomination, click “Redeem Now” or click “Continue Shopping” to find more restaurants.

That’s it! Access your Restaurant Deal, or certificate, on your mobile phone and present it at the restaurant prior to ordering. You also have the option to print your certificate from your account or from your confirmation email and present a printed copy at the restaurant.

If a dining experience doesn’t live up to your expectation, you aren’t satisfied with your choice of restaurant, or you just change your mind, you can exchange your certificate at any time. No questions asked! You can easily exchange your restaurant certificate for a different restaurant on our program with an equivalent value.

The self-exchange process is easy and efficient. Follow these steps below:

  1. Log into your Restaurant.com account by clicking on My Account
  2. You will be taken to the “Certificates” section which is the first option on the left side of the screen.
  3. There is a blue “Exchange for Restaurant.com Gift Card” link under the purchase date of each of your restaurant certificates. Click on the “Exchange for Restaurant.com Gift Card” link.
  4. Check off that you certify that the certificate has not been used.
  5. Click the blue “Exchange for Restaurant.com Gift Card” button, and you immediately will be presented with two options:
    Use Gift Card Now or Redeem Later

If you choose “Redeem Now,” you will be prompted to search for a restaurant. You may also wait to redeem the value later, which is now assigned in your account as a Restaurant.com Gift Card for later use. This Restaurant.com Gift Card will appear under the “Gift Cards” section, and you can use it to select a new restaurant certificate whenever you’re ready!

Please note that certificates can always be exchanged for another Restaurant Deal, or certificate, of equal face value, not the original purchase price.

Unfortunately, restaurants can go out of business or change owners without informing Restaurant.com. If the restaurant is permanently closed, we will make it right for you!

Please accept our apology and send us the details of your experience so we can help. Please send an email to support@restaurant.com including the Restaurant.com Certificate number and any specific details that happened during your restaurant visit. If you have more than one Restaurant Deal, or certificate, to the same restaurant, please let us know how many. After you have sent the email, please login to your Restaurant.com account to exchange your restaurant certificate using our self-exchange process. Your unused restaurant deal, or certificate, will be exchanged immediately for value to the Restaurant.com website in the form of a Restaurant.com Gift Card. Using this Gift Card, you can select another one of our participating restaurants.

We really appreciate the time it takes for you to report such an event! Once you report an issue, we will also work hard to ensure that the restaurant is removed from our listing.

Ready to dine? Follow these simple steps to print your certificate.

  1. Log in to your Restaurant.com account by clicking on My Account.
  2. Find the certificate you would like to print and click “Ready to use this Certificate?”
  3. Click the blue “Print Certificate” button that appears.
  4. Your Certificate will open in a new browser window. Click “Print Certificate” at the top of the page.

That’s it! Just bring your printed certificate to the restaurant and present it to your server prior to ordering.

Yes, you can! Please follow these instructions to redeem a Restaurant.com Gift Card on our website:

  1. Visit www.restaurant.com from any web browser on your mobile phone and tap on the menu icon (☰) in the upper left-hand corner.
  2. Tap on “Have A Code?” under the search bar in the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter your 10-digit code and the zip code you would like to search. Tap the blue “Find A Restaurant” button.
  4. On the next page, you’ll receive a message with the available credit. The value of the Gift Card will be automatically applied to your session and saved to your account when you sign in. You do not have to use your whole Restaurant.com Gift Card at one time.

If you purchased a Gift Card on the Restaurant.com site or we issued you Restaurant.com Gift Card as an exchange, the Gift Card is available in the “My Account” section under "Gift Cards" You will be able to redeem the remaining balance from there.

If you received a Restaurant.com Gift Card as a gift or a reward, you can save this code to your account for later use by entering the code from the back of the Gift Card. Next you will be prompted to sign-in to your account. From there, you can select a Restaurant Deal, or certificate, or end your session. The value will be saved to your account.

If you have a physical Gift Card, please hang on to it if you do not sign-in to your account in that session. We will not have access to the unused balance because we do not have a copy of your physical Gift Card. If you lose the original Gift Card, unfortunately we will not be able to replace it.

A Restaurant.com Gift Card can be redeemed for Restaurant Deals, or certificates, of any value up to the total face value of the Gift Card. For example, a $50 Gift Card can be redeemed for two $25 Restaurant Deals, or certificates, or five $10 Restaurant Deals, or certificates.

Sorry you are having trouble! Here are a few suggestions:

  • Start at the Sign-In page. Check that you entered your registered “Email Address” and the correct “Password.” If you have not yet created a Restaurant.com account, please create your account by clicking the blue ‘Register’ button under the green ‘Login’ button on the Sign-Up/Log In page.
  • If you received an error message saying the email address or password was incorrect, click the blue “Forgot Password?” link under the “Password” field. On the next screen, enter your registered email address and click the green “Submit” button. You will be emailed a link within the hour that will allow you to reset the password for your account.
  • If you clicked “Sign In” and nothing happened and are not directed to your account in 90 seconds, the issue may be related to your browsing history or internet cookies. Please clear your browsing history (see How to Clear Browser Cookies ) and close out of your browser window. Then, in a new window, go back to the Sign In page and attempt to log in again.
  • If you cleared your cookies, and still cannot log in, make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the browser you are using. If your browser is up-to-date and you are still unable to log in to your account, you may want to try a different browser. We meant it when we said it: Restaurant Certificates and Gift Cards never expire!

Here’s some more information to help you locate your Restaurant.com Certificates, or Restaurant Deals, and Gift Cards:

Restaurant.com Gift Cards: All Restaurant.com Gift Cards will still display in the account of the original purchaser and are available for redemption at any time by logging into your account. If you received one as a gift and can no longer find it, just contact the person who sent it to you, and they can resend it from their account.

Physical Restaurant.com Gift Cards: We don’t keep a record of any physical Restaurant.com Gift Cards you might have received as a gift, but if you have a physical Gift Card that has not been redeemed, it is still valid. Just use the 10-digit code to redeem! If you have lost the original Gift Card, unfortunately we are unable to replace it.

Restaurant Certificates, or Restaurant Deals: Some of our older certificates displayed an expiration date. However, if you view and reprint the certificate now, the expiration date has been removed, and the new terms on the bottom of the certificate state, “This Restaurant Gift Certificate Will Not Expire”.

If you would like to reprint a restaurant certificate, visit the “Certificates” section by clicking on “My Account.” Find the certificate, or Restaurant Deal, you would like to print. Click on “Ready to use this Certificate?” and click on the blue “Print Certificate” button. Your certificate will open in a new browser window. Click on the green “Print Certificate” button at the top of the page to print! Also, don’t forget to use our FREE mobile app to use your Restaurant Deals, or certificates, that you may not have had time to print. From time to time, unfortunately, our customers may find out about a restaurant wanting to cancel or no longer participate in our program before the restaurant notifies us. This is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. We’d like to be informed, so if you visit a restaurant and they do not accept your Certificate, let us make it right for you! Please send an email to support@restaurant.com with the restaurant name and address as well as your Restaurant Certificate number. This way we can have our restaurant department reach out to discuss any participation issues with that restaurant.

Since you were unable to use your Restaurant Deal, or certificate, you may exchange your Deal for credit at any time directly from your Restaurant.com account. Login and click on ‘My Account.’ Find the Restaurant Deal in the “Certificates” section and tap “Exchange for Restaurant.com Gift Card” and follow the prompts. This will cancel the Deal code and issue you a Restaurant.com Gift Card, or credit. Once the exchange is completed, you can locate your credit in the “Gift Cards” section on the site.

If you would like to access your Restaurant.com account while you are traveling or on the go, you can access the site from any browser on your mobile device. The mobile version of the website looks and functions very similar to our desktop site and is very user friendly.

You can search by city, state, or zip code just as you do on desktop. You can search for restaurants, complete a new purchase, and access your Restaurant.com account to view all your restaurant certificates, now called “Certificates.” Additionally, you can redeem a Gift Card on the go or if you need to purchase a gift, you may visit our Gift Center Here.

The Restaurant.com mobile app does have the ability to reset your Restaurant.com password. To reset your password, you will need to tap on “Account” in the bottom right corner of the App. If you are signed in, you will see your profile information and a section titled “Change Password.” Enter your current password, then enter a new password and retype that new password to confirm it. Once you have completed these fields, tap “Update Password” to submit the change.

If you are not signed in or unable to sign into your account, tap “Account” in the bottom right corner. On the sign in screen, under the green “Sign In” button, tap “Forgot Password.” On the next screen, enter your Restaurant.com email address and tap “Reset Password.”

Next, you will receive an email. Please tap the “Reset My Password” link in the email and enter a new password, then tap “Submit.” After your password is reset, you may access your account or continue shopping. If you do not receive the password reset email, please check your spam or junk folder.

Be sure to save your new password in a safe place!

Yes, you can! Redeeming Restaurant.com Gift Cards, or credits, on the app has changed a bit. You can now add and use/redeem more than one Gift Card at one time! To use your Restaurant.com Gift Cards to get Restaurant Deals, you will need to login to your Restaurant.com account. If you are a registered member, tap on the “Account” section in the bottom right corner of the App. Enter your email address and password to sign in. If you are not a registered member with Restaurant.com, you will need to register.

Once you are logged in, please follow these steps:

  1. On the “Explore” section of the app, tap on the blue “Redeem Credits” tab towards the bottom of your screen.
  2. Once the tab is expanded, enter your 10-digit Code in the top field.
  3. Tap “Redeem”
  4. Your credit(s) will be added to your account and will display next to the word “Credit:”.
  5. You are now ready to use your credit! Close the blue “Redeem Credits” tab by tapping on it.
  6. Choose your savings and add your Restaurant Deal(s) or certificate, to your cart. Please note that your Gift Card, or credit, is applied to the face value of the Restaurant Deal (i.e. $25 credit will apply to one “$25 OFF” Restaurant Deal OR two “$10 OFF” Restaurant Deals.) Please be sure to read the minimum purchase for each Restaurant Deal, which is listed in plain text right under the amount of savings.
  7. Once you have completed your selections, proceed to the “Cart” section of the app.
  8. At the top of the screen, tap on “Apply Credits.” The system will automatically apply the total amount of credits to qualifying Restaurant Deal(s). [See step 6 for qualifying Restaurant Deal(s).]
  9. Your order total will appear at the bottom. If you don’t have enough credit, then additional payment with a credit card is required. You will see the balance due after your Restaurant.com Gift Card has been applied.
  10. Tap “Checkout” to complete your order.
  11. Your redemption is now complete! If you would like to view and use your Restaurant Deal, or certificate(s), tap on “My Deals.” When you’re at the restaurant, show your Deal to your server. The server taps “Use Now” to mark your Deal, or certificate, as “Used” and apply your savings to your final bill. Bon Appétit!

Not to worry! We’re here to help. Credits, or Restaurant.com Gift Cards, are applied to the face value of the deal, not the retail price. When you have a Restaurant.com Gift Card, which is a credit to Restaurant.com, it can be redeemed for Restaurant Deals, or certificates, equal to the same face value. For example, if you have $50 in credits, you can redeem it for one $50 OFF Restaurant Deals, two $25 OFF Restaurant Deals, or five $10 OFF Restaurant Deals. Therefore, you must have enough credit to cover the total amount of the Restaurant Deal. If you don’t have enough credit to cover your entire order, then additional payment with a credit card is required.

Yes! Restaurant Certificates will now be called Restaurant Deals on our new App. After you login to your account, you can view all previously purchased restaurant certificates, or Deals, by tapping on the “My Deals” section at the bottom of your screen. All your Deals are now grouped by restaurant for easier access. You can view your Deals by “Active” and “Used” by tapping on the toggle at the top of the “My Deals” screen. If you do not see this option, please make sure you have the most updated version of the app downloaded.

To use a restaurant certificate, or deal, at a participating restaurant, login to your Restaurant.com account by tapping on “Account” on the bottom right corner of the Restaurant.com Mobile App on your iPhone or Android device. You can also access your certificates from any browser on your mobile phone.

Once logged in, tap on “My Deals” on the nav at the bottom of the screen and select the restaurant deal that you would like to use from the “Unused” section on the “My Deals” screen. Tap on “Use Now” to bring up the Restaurant Deal and present it to your server. Your server then follows simple steps to mark your certificate as “Used” and apply the savings to your final bill.

Redeeming credits has changed a bit with the launch of our new app, but rest assured your credits are still available for use!

Currently, your Restaurant.com eGift Cards do not automatically display or show in the app. To use your Restaurant.com eGift Cards in the updated mobile app, please visit the full site from your desktop or mobile web browser. At this time, you will need to copy/paste or manually enter your code(s) into the app on the blue “Redeem Credits” tab. Once you redeem the code(s) on the app, you will see your credit total amount pooled together in the app under "Account." Please also note that once a code has been added into the app, it will show under “Used” in your account when viewing the full site.

Simply search for restaurants and apply your available credits in the cart. A friendly reminder that your credits, or Restaurant.com eGift Cards, can be applied to the face value of the restaurant deal, not the price. For example, $25 in credit can be applied to one $25 Restaurant Deal OR two $10 Restaurant Deals.

You may exchange your Restaurant Certificates, or Deals, directly from your Restaurant.com account! This self-exchange option will be listed in the "My Deals" section on the app.

  1. Tap on the "Exchange for Credits" link under the “Use Now” button on the deal you would like to exchange.
  2. Check off that you certify that you have not used your Restaurant Deal
  3. The system will exchange your Deal, instantly issuing you a credit. This new Restaurant.com credit will be added to the credit on your account, which you can view on the blue “Redeem Credits” tab in the app
  4. You may now select a new Restaurant Deal to one of our other restaurant partners.
  5. When you are ready to select a new Restaurant Deal, simply choose your savings by adding a new Restaurant Deal to cart and tap “Apply Credits” on the checkout screen. The credits will automatically apply to the qualifying Restaurant Deal(s). (i.e. $25 credit will apply to one “$25 OFF” Restaurant Deal OR two “$10 OFF” Restaurant Deals.)

Make a Purchase

Occasionally, Restaurant.com sends emails to our registered customers offering an extra discount for a limited time. These discounted offers may provide you with a special promotion code to use when you are placing an order. You will see a yellow bar with this text if there is an active Restaurant.com promotion. If you have a Restaurant.com Promo Code, you can use it by clicking on ‘Apply Promo Code.’ You will then be prompted to enter the code word. Click “Apply” and the discount will be applied to your purchase. If you are on the Restaurant.com mobile app, you can use it by typing the code word into the “Promo Code” box on the cart screen and tapping “Apply.” Your discount will then be applied to your purchase.

Please note, promo codes cannot be applied to certain items, like Restaurant.com Gift Cards.

  1. Once you’ve chosen a Restaurant Deal (or certificate) or Gift Card product(s), choose a denomination and quantity.
  2. Click “Add to Cart” to purchase your Restaurant Deal(s) and verify the quantity.

Ready to dine? Follow these simple steps to print your certificate.

  1. Log in to your Restaurant.com account by clicking on My Account.
  2. Find the certificate, or restaurant deal, you would like to print and click “Ready to use this Certificate?”
  3. Click the blue “Print Certificate” button that appears.
  4. Your Certificate will open in a new browser window. Click “Print Certificate” at the top of the page.

That’s it! Just bring your printed certificate to the restaurant and present it to your server prior to ordering.

Good news! It’s easy to change your password. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Sign into your account using your old password by clicking "Sign Up/Log In” from any page on our site.

  4. Enter your current password and your new password. You will be asked to enter the new password twice.

  5. Please click the “Reset My Password” link in the email and enter a new password in both fields, then click “Submit.” After your password is reset, you may access your account or continue shopping.

We provide you with a history of your purchases in the “My Account” section to help you keep track of your Restaurant Deals, or certificates. The “My Account” page has a toggle menu that allows you to view your restaurant certificates in two ways. You can view just the restaurant certificates that are “Active” and have not been used, or you can view just the restaurant certificates that have been “Used.”

When you use a Restaurant Deal, or certificate, the “My Account” page will automatically update and move the restaurant deal, or certificate, to the “Used” section, and will list the date used at the restaurant. This toggle menu can be found under the “Certificates” heading. Simply click on “Active” or “Used” to view them.

Restaurant.com Gift Cards

It’s easy! Just go to our Have a Code page then follow the instructions below.

If you’re using the FREE Restaurant.com app on your smartphone, please see the FAQ page located on the About section of the Account screen for instructions.

  1. Enter the 10-digit code from your Gift Card and the zip code where you would like to dine. Click “Find A Restaurant” to search for restaurants.
  2. On the next page, you’ll receive a message with the available credit. The value of the Gift Card will be automatically applied to your session and saved to your Restaurant.com account when you sign in. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one to save your Gift Card, or credit. Any remaining value on the Gift Card will be saved to your account to be used at a later date. If you decide not to redeem in this session after you login, the Gift Card is also saved to your account under “Gift Cards.”
  3. Once you are ready to use your credit, browse participating restaurants by search radius, zip code, city, cuisine and more. Our Restaurant Deals, or certificates, vary from restaurant to restaurant, so you may be able to redeem for more than one Restaurant Deal, or certificate, (in any available denomination) with your balance.
  4. Once you’ve selected your restaurant and denomination, click “Redeem Now” or click “Continue Shopping” to find more restaurants.

That’s it! Access your Restaurant Deal, or certificate, on your mobile phone and present it at the restaurant prior to ordering. You also have the option to print your certificate from your account or from your confirmation email and present a printed copy at the restaurant.

You do not have to use your whole Restaurant.com Gift Card at one time.

If you purchased a Gift Card on the Restaurant.com site or we issued you Restaurant.com Gift Card as an exchange, the Gift Card is available in the “My Account” section under “Gift Cards.” You will be able to redeem the remaining balance from there.

If you received a Restaurant.com Gift Card as a gift or a reward, you can save this code to your account for later use by entering the code from the back of the Gift Card. Next you will be prompted to sign-in to your account. From there, you can select a Restaurant Deal, or certificate, or end your session. The value will be saved to your account.

If you have a physical Gift Card, please hang on to it if you do not sign-in to your account in that session. We will not have access to the unused balance because we do not have a copy of your physical Gift Card. If you lose the original Gift Card, unfortunately we will not be able to replace it.

A Restaurant.com Gift Card can be redeemed for Restaurant Deals, or certificates, of any value up to the total face value of the Gift Card. For example, a $50 Gift Card can be redeemed for two $25 Restaurant Deals, or certificates, or five $10 Restaurant Deals, or certificates.

This is a new feature only available on our mobile app! Credits are now combined, or pooled together, and displayed as a total on the blue “Redeem Credits” tab when you first open the app. You can also view your credit total in the “Account” screen under the “Profile” section.

PLEASE NOTE: Once the code is entered on the app it can only be used on the app. The code is also moved to the “Used” section on the full site.

Restaurant Certificates

When you have a Restaurant.com Gift Card, which is value to Restaurant.com, it can be redeemed for a Restaurant Deal, or certificate, of the same value. You are not purchasing a new certificate; you are redeeming a Restaurant.com Gift Card for a Restaurant Deal, or certificate, at the same face value. For example, if you have a $50 Restaurant.com Gift Card, you can redeem it for a $50 Restaurant Deal, two $25 Restaurant Deals, or five $10 Restaurant Deals.

If you are having difficulty printing your Restaurant Deal, or certificate, here are a few troubleshooting suggestions:

  • If everything is displaying fine on your screen but you are having trouble viewing any part of your certificate on the actual printout, try changing your printer settings to black and white or grayscale. This solves most printing problems, and our restaurants are happy to accept your certificate in black and white.
  • If you are missing the restaurant image in the top corner of your Restaurant Deal, or certificate, try deleting your internet cookies, close out of the browser window, and then attempt to view your restaurant certificate once again in a new window. If you are unsure how to delete your internet cookies, please click here. You will need to know what type of web browser and the version you are using on your computer to proceed.
  • If the page is displaying with all the images on your computer screen but your browser is not displaying a “Print Certificate” button, you can usually print by right-clicking your mouse over the white space on the certificate display page and then selecting "Print" from the menu that appears.
  • If all else fails, it is easy to save the deal, or certificate, as a PDF and print from there. To save as a PDF: click the green “Print Certificate” button. When the Printer Menu opens, find the “Destination” drop down and select “Save to PDF” and click “Save.” After you save the deal, or certificate, as a PDF, open the PDF and find the printer icon, 🖨️, to print.

Restaurant Certificates (also referred to as Restaurant Deals or Restaurant-Specific Certificates) – Restaurant-specific promotional certificates that can be used directly at a restaurant to get a discount off the price of a meal.

Restaurant.com Gift Cards – Store value that entitles the holder to redeem the face value of the Restaurant.com Gift Card for an equivalent face value amount of restaurant certificates or merchant certificates. These can easily be personalized and emailed as a gift.

Restaurant.com physical Gift Cards – A wallet-sized, physical Gift Card that can be given to friends and family that entitles the holder to redeem the face value for an equivalent amount of restaurant certificates or merchant certificates.

They are also sent to you in a confirmation email and can be accessed directly through the "My Account" section on Restaurant.com. We meant it when we said it: Restaurant Certificates and Gift Cards never expire!

Here’s some more information to help you locate your Restaurant.com Certificates, or Restaurant Deals, and Gift Cards.

Restaurant.com Gift Cards: All Restaurant.com Gift Cards will still display in the account of the original purchaser and are available for redemption at any time by logging into your account. If you received one as a gift and can no longer find it, just contact the person who sent it to you, and they can resend it from their account.

Physical Restaurant.com Gift Cards: We don’t keep a record of any physical Restaurant.com Gift Cards you might have received as a gift, but if you have a physical Gift Card that has not been redeemed, it is still valid. Just use the 10-digit code to redeem! If you have lost the original Gift Card, unfortunately we are unable to replace it.

Restaurant Certificates, or Restaurant Deals: Some of our older certificates displayed an expiration date. However, if you view and reprint the certificate now, the expiration date has been removed, and the new terms on the bottom of the certificate state, “This Restaurant Gift Certificate Will Not Expire”.

If you would like to reprint a restaurant certificate, visit the “Certificates” section by clicking on “My Account.” Find the certificate, or Restaurant Deal, you would like to print. Click on “Ready to use this Certificate?” and click on the blue “Print Certificate” button. Your certificate will open in a new browser window. Click on the green “Print Certificate” button at the top of the page to print!

Also, don’t forget to use our FREE mobile app to use your Restaurant Deals, or certificates, that you may not have had time to print. All of our restaurant partners accept our certificates on the go from your mobile phone! Download via Google Play for Android or App Store for iOS.

If you’d prefer, you can email us at support@restaurant.com with the restaurant names and certificate numbers. We can then issue the exchange in the form of a Restaurant.com Gift Card which you can use to select a restaurant closer to home or for your next trip.
